News: Crews respond to collision on Hwy 8 ramp near SE Kitchener shopping center

KITCHENER, ON — A Highway 8 ramp was closed for hours Monday, February 12, in southeast Kitchener following a crash, according to OPP GTA Traffic.

The accident happened on the northbound Highway 8 ramp to Sportsworld Drive. It was first recorded by OPP at 10:52 a.m.

As of this writing, local authorities have not released details about the circumstances of the event or the involved parties, but the ramp was shut down for more than five hours.

By 5:05 p.m., the scene was announced cleared with all lanes restored to the public.
